There are countless girls all across the world that pose in their mirrors and imagine that they will become a super model or even a well-known actress. Magen Medlin not only has a name that possesses the essence of a superstar, but she is one of the few young women who has decided to actually go after every little girl’s dream. Like a lot of aspiring young talent, Medlin is from a very small town. She grew up in Roanoke Rapids, NC, which is right near the Virginia border. Medlin refers to her hometown as “nice town to grow up in.” Although there was not always much to do, Medlin and her friends always found a creative way to have fun. They would go to the lake, enjoy bonfires, and even ride four-wheelers.
Medlin admits that she was always very serious about her grades in high school, and she always stayed heavily involved in extra-curricular activities. She is currently training for a half iron man triathlon, but she states that she has always been athletic. Cross-country, the swim team, and running track kept her occupied in high school. Keeping her body in shape plays a huge role in the world of modeling.
